# VALUES EDUCATION IN EARLY SCHOOL EDUCATION
Course Content:
The “Values Education in Early School Education” training course under the Erasmus+ program is designed to equip educators and teachers with the knowledge, skills, and methodologies to promote values and foster character development among young learners in the early school education stage.
The training course will employ a combination of interactive workshops, group discussions, practical exercises, case studies, and collaborative activities. Participants will be encouraged to share their experiences and best practices, fostering peer-to-peer learning.
Objectives:
- Understanding the importance of values education: Participants will explore the significance of values education in early childhood and its impact on the holistic development of young learners.
- Exploring core values: The course will introduce educators to a range of core values (e.g., empathy, respect, responsibility, fairness) and their relevance in early childhood education.
- Integrating values into the curriculum: Participants will learn how to integrate values education seamlessly into the existing curriculum, promoting values both implicitly and explicitly.
